Recent Calls
The Recent calls sub-tab is your call history — every call you've made, received, or missed.
Where to find it
Open the History footer tab, then select Recent calls in the sub-nav at the top.
What each row shows
| Field | Source |
|---|---|
| Contact name | Resolved from your personal contacts and NetSuite directory; falls back to raw number |
| Source badge | RC (RingCentral) / NS (NetSuite) / NS + RC — where the contact came from |
| Direction icon | Inbound / outbound / missed |
| Timestamp | When the call started |
| Duration | Only for connected calls |
| Action | Call back — dials the other party |
Click a call row
Clicking any call row opens the call detail view. From here you can:
- See the linked NetSuite contact and company
- Read or edit notes
- Click Call back to re-dial
Auto-refresh
Recent calls update without manual refresh:
- After every call you make or receive, the list refreshes ~3 seconds after hang-up. (RingCentral needs a few seconds to write the call record.)
- New inbound calls from other parties appear in real-time via RingCentral WebSocket.
Caching
Call history is cached client-side for 5 minutes to keep the tab fast. Cache invalidates automatically after any call. If you ever need to force-refresh, reload the page.
