Recent Calls

The Recent calls sub-tab is your call history — every call you've made, received, or missed.

Where to find it

Open the History footer tab, then select Recent calls in the sub-nav at the top.

What each row shows

Field Source
Contact name Resolved from your personal contacts and NetSuite directory; falls back to raw number
Source badge RC (RingCentral) / NS (NetSuite) / NS + RC — where the contact came from
Direction icon Inbound / outbound / missed
Timestamp When the call started
Duration Only for connected calls
Action Call back — dials the other party

Click a call row

Clicking any call row opens the call detail view. From here you can:

  • See the linked NetSuite contact and company
  • Read or edit notes
  • Click Call back to re-dial

Auto-refresh

Recent calls update without manual refresh:

  • After every call you make or receive, the list refreshes ~3 seconds after hang-up. (RingCentral needs a few seconds to write the call record.)
  • New inbound calls from other parties appear in real-time via RingCentral WebSocket.

Caching

Call history is cached client-side for 5 minutes to keep the tab fast. Cache invalidates automatically after any call. If you ever need to force-refresh, reload the page.

  • Voicemails — switch to the Voicemails sub-tab under History.
  • Making a Call — including call-back from recent calls.
